Zoo Keeper for the day

It’ll be a real “hands on” experience as you help to feed, clean, handle and “muck out” some of our animals alongside one of our trained staff – who will be with you at all times whilst you are with us.
The day includes working in the butterfly and bird houses; daily tasks such as bedding, feeding and cleaning all the animals in the pets corner; caring for our reptiles and insects.
You might be releasing butterflies from the emerging cages in the morning and bathing Mrs Iggy the green iguana in the afternoon – the range of tasks will guarantee that you won’t be bored for a minute!.
The day starts at 9:30am, includes lunch and refreshments and finishes at 3:30pm. All helpers receive a a Pili Palas goody-bag plus a disposable camera with photos of their day.
