A day out at Pili Palas can be a magical experience for all the family whatever the weather! So come along – enter a steamy environment full of lush vegetation and waterfalls with LIVE butterflies flying all around you. This is the magical world of Pili Palas.

’ll come face to face with iguana, dragons, tegu and monitor lizards from around the world. In our learning zone we have an entertaining 20 minute DVD running all day on the life cycle of the butterfly. Then we dare you to visit the tropical lair of tarantulas, scorpions and fire bellied toads. Don’t forget pets corner where you can meet the rabbits and guinea pigs.

Take a walk through our farm yard where our pygmy goats Milly, Molly and Percy live happily with the pot-bellied pigs, silkie hens and peacocks. Then enter our native butterfly garden full of wild and colourful flowers to attract butterflies and moths, follow the pathway down our nature trail where you’ll find lots of wild birds and other creatures hiding in the tall trees and lush green vegetation.

Toddlers can let off steam in our indoor play area - while older children can play on our giant Bouncy Castle or tackle our adventure playground. Kids can also have hours of fun in Lenny’s Castle in the park
Our latest attraction at Pili Palas is our ‘Bug Zone’ which is a creepy crawly paradise for all bug fans. See our hissing cockroaches, Millipedes, locusts, giant land snails and stick insect collection. You may even be lucky enough to hold them!!

Our well-stocked shop has toys, gifts & books to suit all ages and the Chipmunk Café serves tempting home-made food. If you’re lucky you might get a table by the window where you’ll be able to watch the chipmunks in their enclosure as you eat.
